You cautiously peered out from behind the safety of the large mahogany door, troubled eyes brimming with an uneasy mixture of worry and apprehension as you glanced inside of the fiery haired man's study -that same dark feeling of utter sadness washing over you in endless waves of misery, a vile concoction that had become all too familiar to your exhausted form throughout the past few months.
It hurt your heart to just look at him, the way his once immaculate appearance had become tainted and dishevelled with lack of sleep and the painful desperation that flowed through his veins as he continued to lock himself away inside of his study, constantly plotting and scheming in solitude. You feared for him, being forced to stand aside and watch as the one you loved gradually deteriorated into a mere shadow of the man you once knew, the man you adored with all of your heart. You wanted nothing more than the Lysandre you loved to return to you, to sweep you up in his arms and kiss your trembling lips as he held you tightly against his chest, reassuring you that he was still there, that he would always be there.
And yet all you could do was merely stand there with a heavy heart and stare at his hunched form as he continued to scrawl out endless pages of messy notes that spilled over the wooden surface of his desk. He had become so obsessed with planning to create his perfect world that he had forgotten that the person that's entire life had once revolved around him was slowly slipping further and further away from him.
You wanted to storm over towards that god forsaken desk and tear him away from all those vile papers that littered the room, force his azure gaze to meet with your own as you shook him by the shoulders and screamed at him to look at you like he used to, to love you for God's sake!... yet all you could do was lean against the door as it shut with a soft thud, your heart heavy in your chest as the tears began to flow freely down your flushed cheeks. Heavy sobs were choked back from behind a clammy hand as your frail shoulders shook with each hiccupped gasp of air you took, the slurry of emotions pent up inside of you escaping against your will and your wails resonated throughout the dimly lit hallway.
Yet your cries would never reach Lysandre's ears.
They never did.

La Vie en Rose [Pokemon X and Y Lysandre x Reader]
It was the sound of footsteps, the consistent thud of boots on steel, that told Lysandre that they were coming. He raised his gaze from the floor, and straightened. He had been waiting patiently for over an hour for this zenith. It was going to be a make or break moment. If he did not convince [Name] to join him, then (he/she) could easily destroy everything he had so carefully built.
[Name] stepped down the stairs and into the dim light of the lab. They glanced around, and, when their eyes adjusted, they spotted him. "Lysandre," [Name] greeted him coldly.
"Finally," Lysandre stated with obvious relief. "I've been waiting-"
"You know why I

Beautiful World to Myself [Flare Leader Lysandre]
"You don't understand, (Name)! You'll never understand." Lysandre's voice boomed across the room, making all of the grunts flinch. The (h/c) haired woman who two grunts held captive wore a look of shock, sadness, and anger, her blazing eyes locked on Team Flare's leader.
"You're the one who doesn't understand, Lysandre." (Name) replied, a hint of regret in her defiant tone. "What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you try and destroy the world? Don't you realize how ridiculous this all is?"
"Now (Name), it doesn't seem you know what you're talking about." Lysandre shook his head. "I thought you were different, (Name), but it seems you do

I recommend that you listen to this song:www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUWrcF… whilst reading this fic because that's what I listened to while writing it and I fell that it suits the situation well.
So I finished Pokemon x the other day, good game but I was a little dissapointed at how small a part I felt Team Flare actually got in the plot >.< It all just felt really rushed to me :c
Lysandre quickly became one of my new favourite pokemon characters, he was really interesting! So I decided to write a little something with him in it Hope its ok~
Lysandre is property of Gamefreak, I do not own the character in any way what so ever
